Location: Seasons House Emergency Shelter and Bridges Supportive Housing
The key skills and attributes for this position are: team leadership and supervisory skills; outstanding communication ability, both oral and written; familiarity with community resources; strong organizational and problem-solving skills; strong personal and professional boundaries, commitment to working from a harm reduction approach, and commitment to resolving homelessness issues with individuals and in the community.
Hours of work: 7.5hr rotating shifts – weekdays, weekends, evenings, and overnights
Education/training: Formal education in the form of a degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent training in a relevant discipline
Experience: More than three years experience in a related field

Support Worker

The key skills and attributes for this position include: ability to work with in a harm-reduction model and within a minimal barriers framework; dependability; strong problem-solving skills; compassion and recognition of homelessness issues; being a team-player; excellent organizational and communication skills; and commitment to client confidentiality.
Hours of work: 7.5hr rotating shifts – weekdays, weekends, evenings, and overnights
Education/training: Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field
Experience: More than two years experience in a related field

Custodian
Casual & On Call
Location: Seasons House Emergency Shelter and Bridges Supportive Housing
Do you have experience providing custodial or janitorial work? We’re looking for a custodian to join our team!
We are looking for applicants with the following qualifications:
Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Custodial work experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and deal effectively both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated physical/mental ability to organize and perform the duties of the job.
Demonstrated ability to operate related equipment.
Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality
